Tripod HM12 Wall Lamp 2024 by Hvidt & Mølgaard
Crafted from lacquered aluminium, the Tripod wall lamp is anchored by a spherical base that establishes a visually solid foundation, while the shade’s swivel feature allows the lamp to distribute a generous diffusion of light.
Introduced in 2024 inspired by sketches of the original lamp by Hvidt & Mølgaard.
Peter Hvidt (1916-1986) and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen (1907-1993) were pioneers of Danish mid-century design and the founders of Copenhagen-based firm Hvidt & Mølgaard.

Materials
The shade is spun from a single piece of aluminium and attached to the stem with a rotational joint. The stem is made from bent steel tube.
The whole lamp is lacquered in a satin matt finish.
Rotation joint and details are in brass.
