Prismatic Side Table by Isamu Noguchi for Vitra
Created by Japanese American sculptor and designer Isamu Noguchi in 1957 and re-launched for 2023, the Prismatic side tables are inspired by Japanese paper folding techniques. Each side table comprises three elements in folded sheet aluminium with a high-quality powder-coated finish. Joined together they form a three-legged table with a hexagonal top.
As originally planned by Isamu Noguchi, Vitra produces the Prismatic Table in three versions, whose three individual parts are each available in different combinations of muted shades of grey. Arranging several of these Prismatic Tables together reveals captivating kaleidoscope-like patterns.
