PH 3/3 Pendant by Louis Poulsen
Poul Henningsen designed hundreds of lamps based on the three-shade-system he developed in 1926.
The PH 3/3 is described as a ‘whole’ sized pendant, with the top shade of approximately 30 cm corresponding with the middle and lower shade in the proportions of 3:2:1.
The ‘whole’ sized fixtures are designed to be particularly glare-free and are therefore ideally placed high in a room where it integrates great quality lighting with cosy ambience.
PH 3/3 comes with all metal shades (producing primarily downward-directed light), all opal glass shades (producing a warm glow) or a combination of both - with metal top shade and glass middle and lower shades.
A frosted glass diffuser to ensure even light distribution is included, but use of this element is optional.
