Baude Armchair by SCP
An evolution of the 1990s design icon Balzac Armchair, the Baude takes the original form forward with a few subtle changes. The cushion has been replaced by an upholstered platform and the piece sits on a stainless steel sledge base.
By slightly lengthening the profile and lowering the sitting position, Matthew Hilton has also created a chair that is ideal for domestic or commercial use.

Sustainability
SCP have reverse engineered their entire catalogue of upholstery designs to remove foam, and therefore fire retardant chemicals, from their furniture. This dedicated development work, in addition to a build quality that ensures longevity, and a factory in Norfolk that employs and skills a local workforce, means a truly sustainable collection of upholstery design.
